Heinz Sponsors Great British Pub Food Awards 2010

Heinz Foodservice is proud to sponsor the new Fish & Chips category in the Great British Pub Food Awards 2010. This award will celebrate the classic pub dish at a time Fish and Chips as a British Institution is celebrating its 150th anniversary.

The award is part of the award's chefs competition and three chef finalists will all put their own twists on this menu must when they cook-up the dish at a final on January, 27th. In addition to their entered fish & chips dish, finalists will also be asked to create a main course dish from a mystery box of ingredients including Heinz Tomato Ketchup and Lea & Perrins.  The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 11 March.
